So the other day Ryan was in the living room and said, "hey mom I found a ribbon for you" and so he handed me said ribbon
and this is what I got, a Bullsnake, which I have found out is one of the largest snakes in Texas, growing up to 9ft long!!!!  Luckily this was a baby, but I so wasn't planning on grabbing a snake, it scared me too DEATH!!!

The other day I needed to get some cleaning done so I rolled out some butcher paper and let the kids go to town.......and it started out nicely like this.
With some serious body drawings.

But it quickly turned into this.........
And Caroline for some reason had markers that weren't washable! Lovely!

Our lovely day ended with a wonderful reading by daddy.  Caroline has just recently started to sit still during books which is a nice change!  Ryan was cute and sat and played with her hair the whole time they were reading books!

The other day we were going to the zoo with Shalene and I took the time to get ready!  So in order to capture my good hair day with out appearing vain, I had the kids pose with me! :)
I can't believe how big and grown up Ryan is becoming!  He is such a sweet boy and is always ready for an adventure!

Caroline and Jordan sharing secrets at the zoo!

This little girl is the picture of spunk and sass!!  Her sassiness is starting to get out of control!  Most punishments don't phase her in the least, and she laughs or ignores most things away, which is super awesome.....not!

Caroline the turtle!

This is one large croc Caroline is kissing!!!

Sweet boy too bad I didn't move him out of the shade!

 He's trapped!!

We went to the rodeo the same evening as Ryan's birthday party with our friends the Yates!  I was a little on the sleepy side and it was sweltering but fun was had by all!

These three all play really well together, we love having Brandon over!

We went to a local water park the other day, and the kids had a BLAAAST!!!
Ryan got to go on some waterslides, and loved every second of it!  After the first slide he was all smiles and this was his comment,"MOM THAT WAS ROCK AND ROLL!!!"  It made me laugh and I'm not quite sure where it came from.

My Caroline was actually a little more timid, I put her down an enclosed three story slide and we were watching from the top down to the bottom and didn't she here, didin't she her.  Then all the sudden right in front of me I hear, "MOM, I don't like slide, it scary me!"  My cheeky monkey climbed her self back up the slide!!!

We took the train to the Dallas Fair Park Aquarium with some friends last week, and we had a blast despite the hellish heat!

We didn't check the train schedule before we left and got to the station really early.  The conductor took pity on us mom's and gave the kids a tour of the train.   He let them all sit in the drivers seat and then while we were moving he let them all come up and blow the whistle!!  They loved it!!
Next we were off to the aquarium, the highlight was most definitely the Stingray tank.  I think the kids could have stayed there for hours, which was a good thing because the "aquarium" was tiny!
Ryan was a little unsure the whole time but eventually loosened up, but I think he has watched a few to many Wilds Kratts.  Ry kept telling me, " but mom, they can sting you with their tails."
One finger, hiding behind Nadia! hahahaha

Mr. Stingray snuck up on Ry and sucked on his fingers......shocked a little.....YES!

Was my Liney Girl fearful? NOPE, not a chance, she would have jumped in and swam with them if I would have let her!

We had a great day,and it got even better because Caroline feel asleep before we got on the train home and slept the whole way home!
