MY SON KEEPS PEEING ON THE FLOOR IN HIS ROOM(IN THE NIGHT INSTEAD OF WETTING THE BED)

MY DAUGHTER HAS AGAIN DEVELOPED A KEEN ATTACHMENT TO ME AND WON'T LET ME OUT OF HER SIGHT(I WAS TEACHING SUNDAY SCHOOL, SHE DID'T WANT TO GO TO NURSERY AND THE BISHOP HAD A FRIEND BRING HER TO ME BECAUSE SHE WAS SCREAMING SOOO LOUD)

IT IS STINKING HOT OUTSIDE AND I AM OVER IT

MY HOUSE SELF IMPLODES EVERY DAY AND A HALF

I AM SUPPOSED TO BE LOSING WEIGHT, BUT THAT JUST SOUNDS LIKE ALOT OF WORK

BOTH OF MY KIDS(ONE OF WHICH IS USUALLY A GREAT EATER) REFUSE TO EAT ANYTHING I COOK
I AM SO OVER SNOTTY NOSES I COULD SCREAM

TOYS ARE EVERYWHERE AND I HAVE ALREADY  GOTTEN RID OF THREE RUBBERMAID BINS FULL OF THEM

AS OF RIGHT NOW CAROLINE IS WANDERING AROUND THE HOUSE SCREAMING FOR ME

HAVE I MENTIONED THAT SHE PUTS EVERYTHING IN HER MOUTH

MAYBE SHE SHOULD BE THE ONE STARTING PRESCHOOL ON THURSDAY

AND YES I KNOW I TYPED THIS ALL IN CAPS

TODAY I AM KINDA OVER IT!!

today we had another busy day!!
the mall has a new pet store that the kids are in love with!!
then we went to the doctors for the kids well checks-have i mentioned that ry LOVES his doctor, i have to threaten that if he isn't good he CAN'T go see Dr. Worsley.

Carolines stats first:  21 pounds and 33 inches tall  10% weight and 90% height
Ryan: 34 pounds and 39-1/2 inches tall  70% weight and 90% height

after the doctors we went home for naps, which took forever for them to go to sleep, by the way.

then we headed out to a school carnival with some friends-ry had a blast!
our friend Shane and their adorable baby Maggie

hopefully the last time ry is in the back of a cop car!

when we got home ry ran in the house and immediately started calling for me to come here, this is what he found
these little geckos are EVERYWHERE!  he thinks they are the greatest things ever.  caroline is fearless also, this little guy was crawling all over her and her shirt, she just wanted to put him in her mouth.

ry had such a happy day, no yelling(by me) no whining, happy, fun, loving boy.  it's so nice to have those days it just makes me love being a mom!  i read my friend carmens blog the other day and it was total inspiration for me right at that moment!  i used the sticker technique all day and it was fabulous-he was happy and i was happy-thanks carmen you are the best!!

last of all, i always have carolines hair pulled back in a ponytail or pig tails so you never see how curly it really is, so tonight i took a picture.  it is getting so long, i should leave it down sometime but it is still really thin and by the end of the day it is just flat and frizzy.  and she leaves the ponies and bows in no problem so why mess with a good thing-right? RIGHT!

so yesterday we had a cold front come through(95 degrees) and so we headed to the botanical gardens with some friends.  the kids had a blast and played until they dropped!!
Ry loves Nadia!!!!  He prays for her every night in his prayers and it melts my heart!

 smelling the flowers!

sweet nadia

burning off a ton off pent up energy!

having a blast throwing wood chips!

nadia was the mommy bear and the boys were her babies, sleeping!!

this was taken a couple of weeks ago before it got to hot to step foot outside!  I thought it was just too cute not to share!!  they were having a great time together rolling around in the grass!

this is the same little stinker that while i was holding her the other day started to pinch her own cheek saying "ow ow ow" and then started yelling, "NO NO RYAN NO!!!!"
she was hurting her self and then blaming her brother-while i was holding her!!  you little stinker!!

In case you were wondering this is what we have been up to in the 110 degree heat!!  hey, what else is there to do?  I've had to lock the backdoor-it's TOO HOT to even play outside.  So pajama parties it is!!

Sunday morning the kids went out to swim before we got ready for afternoon church.  I think this was like 8:30 in the morning and it was like 90 degrees!  Mimi cut up a watermelon for the kids and they had a little fun with it!

pretending to be puppies of course!!

a little feral

and of course a hat!

So Katie was in town for just a couple days to get a little mommy help with her new GLUTEN FREE lifestyle.  We didn't get to spend too much time together because we were trying to keep things as stress free as possible and let face it my kids are NOT stress free!

We spent the afternoon at the beach pool.  Our children were less then wonderful, spent various lenghts of time in timeout the whole time we were there-i think the only one who escaped time out was Caroline(but that doesn't mean she didn't need it!)
Caroline loves her some watermelon slushy

She is always on her tippy toes!

the fountain turned on right when she  bent over it!
and guess who showed up while we were at the pool......uncle scotty!

Circus Time Again!!!

I love the circus, probably more then the kids do!  I found cheap tickets again this year so we were off!

Mimi was able to meet up with us and she brought along a couple of little friends!

D was so excited and totally into it!  About two minutes in she turned to me and said,"oooh emmy, my mommy would have really liked this.  I need to tell her all about it!"  So sweet

and this little bug loved the "wrigers"  she kept telling me "ooh emmy the wrigers say RROOOAAR!"

the kids couldn't take their eyes off these guys!!  the man up there had a bag over his head!! C.R.A.Z.Y.!!!
we also saw a human cannon ball, which i thought was the coolest eva!

i just want to squeeze them they are just so dang cute!

oh and these guys are pretty yummy too!
i love love love the elephants!!  man did these guys destroy the arena!! There was POOP EVERYWHERE!!!

and the grande finale-WRIGERS!!!

It's so hot even the cows are swimming!!
I have never seen cows just chilln' in the water before!

okay so my kids have plenty of nice green grass to roll around and play in

but most of their time is spent right here
this little patch of dirt in the backyard is their piece of heaven!
i think they might need a sandbox!

and yes another picture of them in their pajama's, but i promise i really do get them dressed.  this was early in the morning before breakfast they went out to play before it got way to hot, i think yesterday was 107 degrees!

8 year old bull rider

These are the junior bull riders!!  I think they were ages 6-12, and man did they ride!!

Publish Post

high flying bull riding

We had a blast last night at the PBR in Weatherford,  now you can relive it with us!
Caroline waving to all the cowboys!

i think this was the best picture of the night.

 the little person rodeo clown!

loved this sequence-we had seats right there on the dirt so the bulls and cowboys would come right up by us.  Caroline kept saying hi to this cowboy, but his adrenaline was pumping and you could see his hands shaking like a leaf.

i asked the man in the back of the picture if he could get Cort to come over and say hi, and the man said if anyone would come over to say hi it would be Cort.  Sure enough a couple minutes later the Cowboy came over and greeted us all-it was so fun to see him in person and get to watch him ride.  He rode the first one but got bucked on the second go round.  I love Amazing Race and really wish they had won.
After he left the man who helped me said that the man we saw on TV is the exact same person in really life.

Calf Scramble
Thank you Steve and Joann for the tickets-we had a fabulous night and the kids REALLY enjoyed, they both lasted the full 2 hours in the 100 degree plus heat and three hours past their bedtime by time we got home.  It was great evening to spend with jared since none of us have seen much of him lately.
