Spending time in Truckee

Makes you feel like a kid again!! I went down the hill twice and had a great time!
Ryan rolled himself out of the sled and into the snow, loving every minute of it. It didn't seem like the cold scared him at all. I missed the first picture of him coming up from the snow when he first rolled out, and he had a great big smile on his face.
Thanks Laur for the wonderful trip to Tahoe, we had a blast.

What a perfect day out in the snow!! We went to Tahoe with Laur and Chrissy and spent 4 days at their beautiful house in Truckee. The weather was perfect, I think it was about 50 degrees and very sunny. We had a a blast just hanging out, minus the sick dog and Chrissy with food poison! : ) Actually it was the flu since she was the third person to get sick since I was there and Tommy got sick too!! Each person thought it was food poison until the forth person got sick. Luckily Ryan and escaped the rath of the up chuck!!
I'm pulling Ryan up the hill in the sled.
Action shot of Ryan flying down the hill, loving every moment of it.
The cold doesn't seem to both this little man!
Crazy hat cute smile!

I hope they call me on a mission when I have grown a foot or two.

Look at that handsome missionary. Scott gave a fabulous talk in Valencia this weekend as his farewell before his mission. I know that he will be a great missionary.
Me and my littlest brother. I can't believe that he is SO big. I remember cripping his hair and putting him in a dress. I don't think that will happen now.
Ryan's first Easter! The beautiful outfit he is waring was made by my visiting teacher Michelle.
Too cute for words.

Friends of ole

Here we are at Zachary's Pizza, a place Jen is always talking about in her blog. The pizza was wonderful. It's crazy that the kids out number the adults. Jen and I went to High School together, and did a lot together. It's so crazy to think back to the time when all of this was a dream and something that we just talked about. Now we are mom's with kids around the same age. It's so nice to be able to spend time together and reconnect and talk about the good old days. Who would have thought that A. we both would have waited so long after being married to have kids. And B. Jen would have twins. Life is truly unpredictable.
People, you are witnessing a miracle....three babies asleep at the same time. Are we bad mom's because we woke them to go shopping. shopping is really important. You should have seen people looking at us because at one point I was pushing the stroller with the twins and carrying Ryan in the Baby Bjorn. I got some pretty shocked glares.
I'm holding Jen's twins Merrick and Berkleigh. They are too cute and sooo good. It was so nice to spend the day with Jen.

I left my heart in San Francisco

The bay and Alcatraz in the back, it was a beautiful day.
Trolley Car ride, actually we are just posing.

This picture is the most exciting of them all, we got the most incredible parking spot ever!!! I think it was being used because people just saw the no parking sign and didn't bother to read the rest of it. We were right on the corner of Ghirardelli Square and the Trolley turn around! Talk about good karma.

Ryan's about as big as the cable!

I'm leaving on a jet plane don't know when I'll be back again

Okay so these aren't in order of how things happened but the pictures are really cute. We went to the beach at Grandmas house and we couldn't have asked for a more beautiful day
Our foot prints in the sand
Jared can you get a job here....look how beautiful it is!!
She loves me, she loves me not

He was the happiest boy on the plane everyone was so impressed with how happy he was the entire flight. One of the flight attendants walked by and wanted to take him on a walk of the plane. Ryan loved looking at everyone and making sure they made eye contact with him.
GG and Ryan. We couldn't ask for a better great grandma.
Out for a walk on the beach.
