Okay so this little girl LOVES her some broccoli!!!  She will eat it until the cows come home!!

She sat in her chair for about 30 minutes after we were all done eating just happily gnawing on several crowns!

Some things that I miss.....

Ruby as a puppy!

Dating(Jared of course), and being so young

getting all dressed up!

dancing on tables with my sister at weddings(and i just plain miss my sister)

scottie, who comes home in less then a month!!!

my short blond hair(but not so much the fat face)

shamanny(arianne) and the time to apply my make-up with time,care and attention

spending time on the beach with my family(in Hawaii)

i miss kathy and Barton Springs(in Austin), so that means i miss Austin too!

subway sandwiches COVERED in ranch dressing and the time and money to get my nails done!

I miss Paul at the Thai Kitchen like nobody's business

THE BEST THAI FOOD EVA!!!!

I think he would still  remember my order if I walked in today!

I miss feeding my Boys on Sunday!!

I miss water-skiing(almost everyday in the summer) and showing up the boys!!

i miss high school(sometimes)but I do miss the friends!!

i miss new baby smell-but not enough to have another one anytime soon!!

I miss catching the BIGGEST fish ever and having the time to lay around and get that tan!!

These are just a few things that I miss!!  But there is a whole list of things that I love-which is coming soon!

So exciting to see how much I saved!!!

and that included free movie tickets to see Toy Story 3 when it comes out in the theater, so I got the movie in Blue Ray and DVD and movie tickets for a $1.99 each!  It makes me want to sing and dance

Now I need to learn how to coupon to really save me money grocery shopping!

I told him he couldn't smile in the picture because he was naughty!!!

i left Ryan in the car unattended and obviously not buckled and this is what i came back too!!!  I was shocked to say the least, "Mommy, look I put on your mascara!!"  

I usually don't take pictures of naughty behavior because it will only feed the ideas but I couldn't help it this time!  He didn't get it  anywhere except his face, which shocked me-I was sure that he had gotten it on his new shirt right as we are trying to get out the door with waiting on us-but i got lucky becasue mascara only goes on your face RIGHT?

I was sure to reinforce that this was NAUGHTY behavior and we were not to do it ever again!!!!

Eyes, blush, and lipstick-that's what he put on with expert skill!!

This is the one thing we did during Spring Break!!  We went to the opera!!  The Fort Worth Opera puts on two childrens shows during Spring Break and it was fabulous!!  Ryan loved it-they did The Billy Goats Gruff!  It was great and we will definately go back next year!!  gotta love the camera phone

Liney Girl finally had her 1 year appointment the other day.  here are her stats

height: 75%

weight: 25%(much to the relief of her father)

head size: 25%

she has one tooth on top and two on the bottom, she is walking around holding on to one finger but WILL NOT walk on her own, she hasn't pooped in the tub since Valentines Day(which if you have kept up with my blog at all you would know it was a huge problem-i put her on the potty, most of the times she pees and every once in awhile she poops-awesome), she can point to your eye, starting to love books-and will bring me her favorite one all day, still loves her bottle and still loves her milk warmed up-i need to stop both of habits but i just can't bring myself to do it, she is just so happy,-and if that simple thing helps then why not RIGHT, she blows kisses, can shake her head yes or no, gives pats, she is loud-babbles loud-laughs loud-screams loud just plain loud, loves her binky on a string(it funny to watch her look for her binky  if it's not attached to her, i was told by the pediatrician that i need to take that away too-NOT YET-i'm not ready), she will do ANYTHING to get into the bathroom to play toilet, love her an open dishwasher-you've never seen a child crawl SOOO fast, signs more and all done, smacks her lips when she wants to eat, loves dogs, wants to be outside, want to do EVERYTHING her brother is doing, is starting to notice injustice, loves to dance, she is just our happy girl and we love her!!

This morning Jared was having Ryan say all of his animal noises and then he randomly asked Ryan what mommy says(which in the past he has always made a funny noise for any person) and Ryan in a girly sounding voice says,"We're going to Costco Ryan."  I laughed so hard-and this was before he was even out of his crib!  

Then we asked him what daddy says and in a manly voice,

"Bye Ryan I have to go to work." 

This crazy kid cracks me up!!

 

All dressed up for church and looking pretty cute!!

So my best friend Alison came into town this weekend for a quick visit on their way down to Austin, and it was so nice to see them for a quick visit.

 

We had a very laid back evening while the boys took in a Mavs game.  It's so nice to have someone that you can connect with no matter what and just hang out and have a great time!! 

Man, four kids is alot!!!

 Trying to get four kids to sit still, look at the camera, and smile would act an act of fate-which apparently didn't happen for us!!!

Thanks Ali and Cory for the visit I really appreciate it and had a great time even though it was short!!

How can I earn an extra $170 a month so I can put Ry in preschool three days a week from 9-2!

What a little sunshine can do for you!!

Okay so my camera still "works" I just can't see what I'm taking a picture of, so as my friend Shalene suggested "take a whole bunch!"  well all righty then.....these are some that I got today of my Sunshine girl!!  I just can't tell you how much I love this little girl and how happy she is!!  I think she is getting happier by the day, she is just easy going and happy to do ever!

She is moments away from beinging able to walk on her own but she is just a little scared!!

And why walk when you have moves like this????

I love you squishy face-to bad I didn't get any pictures of her with her hair bow in too, because it was stinkin' cute!!

As a side note Ry is pretty stinkn' cute too but he is going to kill me or drive me to drink someday I'm sure of it!!  We've been working with Ry to get him to say "I love you" back when Jared or I say it to him(because he can say anything under the sun but he has been seriously holding out on that one.  So anyways he has finally started to say it all on his own(which melts my heart and sometimes makes me cry) which is wonderful but the other morning from his crib this is what he is yelling to me(he won't climb out, just bellows for me or Jared) a couple of mornings ago, 

"MOM....MOM....MOMMY...MAMA...MOM YOU STILL LOVE ME?  MOM, MOM YOU STILL LOVE ME?  MOM....MOMMY...MOM!!!" 

I promptly got up and retrived him from his loveless room!

Broken.....

The screen on my camera is finally totally broken, it's gone in and out for the last month but now it is totally kaput!!  I feel like I've lost my arm or something without my camera!  So without my camera I'm left with my crummy camera phone!  The last two days have been glorious and I have NO pictures to prove it!  Friday we spent all day outside, first the zoo and the botanical gardens to run, run, run, run!!  Then on Saturday we went to Mimi and Gramps in the morning for some kite flying and a dog parade.  Ry flew a kite for the first time and was able to do it all by himself, there was the perfect wind!  Then after that Jared and I took Ryan to the BYU vs. TCU basketball game(my friend Barbara watched Caroline for us) which he loved every minute of, but I have no pictures to prove any of this-I'm so bummed!!!

Okay so today I totally rear ended someone-it scared the crap out of me, the kids weren't in the car and there was NO damage to either car!  BUT now I'm SORE!!  My neck is killing me, we were at a stop sign and she started to go and I looked down I guess and then started to go, but she suddenly stopped, and so I rear ended her unexpectedly!!

Okay so a totally random thought-Why does it seem that fire alarm batteries ALWAYS seem to die in the middle of the night, and then beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep until you can either fall back asleep since it woke you(me) up to begin with or get up and pull the annoying thing out of the ceiling???

 Okay so the pictures don't quite translate how cute it really was-this was her banner that was HUGE!  Thanks Katie for your help cutting it out!

Next was the Candy Table-Now that I look back on it, it's funny that I even had a candy table because I rarely let Ry eat any candy at all-I think he had two pieces of Halloween candy total-and now there was this huge table full of candy that he had free unsupervised access too.  Oh well it was for a party and he went right to sleep when everyone left!

 

My friend Maria and I made the candy balls hanging from the ceiling-so easy and so cute and colorful!!  Then the lollipop garden was made with left over invites!

 

Next: on to the cake!!  Caroline didn't hold back she just dug right in!!

 Last of all presents, she got some great things!  Thank you to everyone for the thoughtful gifts and for a wonderful day!!

oh and on the fireplace are lollipops made with dowel and styrofoam balls wrapped in tissue paper!

Okay so here is a run down of my last week and a half!

Thursday: Get ready for Bunco party I'm hosting, clean my house while holding Caroline the whole time

Friday: Run errands in the morning, lunch,pack, make skirts for Katies girls, work on Carolines birthday party, make matching outfits for ry and Caroline for Larsons Luau Birthday Party, watch a friends kid while she gets ready for her sons 1st birthday, make and decorate cupcakes for friend, sound asleep at 8pm

Saturday: get up and shower, pack for all three of us, pack up the car, get the pack'n'play, go to the bank and get cash, pick up a dvd player from a friend, be at Birthday Party at 11, arrive at party at 11:45, need to leave by 12, leave at 12:15, drive to my mom's and get stuck in traffic, want to be on our way by 1pm for St. Louis, we are on the road at 3, drive on the most annoying stretch of highway ever(a little town every 7 miles that you have to slow down,slow down, slow down, then speed up speed up speed.),after several stops we finally made it to Katie and Matt's house at around 12 or 1 I can't remember, get everyone in bed because they didn't sleep the entire way out there except maybe the last hour off and on, and once I realized Caroline wont poop in her car seat-she wants to get up and walk around-she got alot happier!

Sunday: Get up and get ready for church, head to church, I get a migraine, Reese gets a fever, head home and get the kids in bed at 6!

Monday: We head to the Science Museum and had a great time-until Delaney suddenly got a fever and was very sleepy-luckily it was at the end of the day and we all had a great time.  Mom bought pizza for everyone and the kids were again in bed at 6!

Tuesday: Everyone got up and ready to go to the The Magic House.  We let the kids watch a movie while the adults finished cleaning up and getting dressed, Ry fell asleep while watching Toy Story(which has NEVER happened before), we let ry sleep thinking we would go when he wakes up, Ry wakes up with a fever! and throwing up, so much for The Magic House!  I really wanted to go and our muesum pass would have gotten us all in for free. Spend the day at the house, make some things for Carolines Birthday Party, just hang out.

Wednesday: Carolines First Birthday!!! We are off to the City Museum!  If you are ever in St Louis you have to go!!!  It was amazing!  Ry seems to have recovered from the day before.  We are there ALL day!  While there we found this huge 7 story twisty slide-Katie went down first with Reese, then I kind of tossed Ryan down(that was probably a bad mommy move since I had NO idea what the slide was like) I could hear Ryan clank his way down, I felt horrible!!  After everyone went down we discovered that Reese had gotten hurt. Katie took Reese to the doctors for some x-rays(it turned out to be a sprained ankle-poor Reese), Mimi and I stayed with the other three, we climb, crawled, ran, throw, rode, bounced, laughed, giggled, cut, ate, slid, listened, jumped, this place was AMAZING!!! Go see the Arch(well we just ran out of time), We got home and Reese was okay(so to speak), Katie decorated the house for Carolines birthday, had dinner, had Carolines party and the kids were in bed by 6!  Caroline was asleep before I was out of the room-but oh how looks can be deceiving-that little girl was up I think every hour through the night!! 

 Thursday: Wake up call at 6:30(like every morning we were there), get dressed and pack up since we were leaving today. Go to Zoomagination  and The Magic House to get out and do something before we get in the car for the next 10 hours, well by the time we were packed I was over everything and ready to go home.  The kids were melting down, Reese didn't feel go and Caroline had a fever.  Little had I known I would have taken the kids somewhere to play for a little while.  And then came the drive from hell!  It was miserable, I think we stopped 12 times at least!!!!  I wont bore you with all the gory details, but my mom is a SAINT!  But saying that I don't think she will volunteer for a rode trip with me and my charges anytime soon ever again!!  I pulled into our driveway at 2 am with two children who slept a whopping hour, maybe if that!!!  All I can say is it was a LONG day!

Friday: Kids woke up at 9:30, took them to the doctor( Caroline has goopy eyes, runny nose, fever, and a rash ALL over her body), waited, waited, and waited, she has a ear infection, then headed to Target to get another way too expensive prescription, got some things for Carolines party, headed home and put the kids down for a MUCH needed naps(they slept for 5 and 6 hours), I started to clean for Carolines party on Saturday(yes the next day), when the kids woke up went to Costco to get food for the party, put the kids to bed, Maria came over and helped me decorate, finished the last couple of things, in bed at 1:30.

Saturday:  I woke up at 7 showered, and started to clean up, jared took ry out to breakfast, went to the store for frosting(since I forgot it)and several other things and balloons.  Got home at 10:30(party started at 11), started cooking the food, iced the cupcakes, and then everyone started to arrive......it was a beautiful, fun party!  We had a great time and so glad we could have so many friends and family to celebrate Carolines 1st Birthday!  I kicked out the last of the guest at 2 and was sound asleep before they were out of the driveway!!

It was a CRAZY couple of day and I had a blast BUT I am so glad that it is over!!
