Today was a beautiful day, so we headed outdoors and had a wonderful time at the Fort Worth Nature Center! The kids ran and ran and ran and ran and ran and ran and ran and oh yeah they ran!

Looking for prairie dogs and buffalos.  We saw the prairie dogs but no such luck with the buffalo today!

Check out that tongue!!!! holy smokes!!! I was so proud of Opal, we let her run off her leash and every time I called she came running, and basically she kept between me and the kids.  She was in dog heaven and will definitely be taking her back soon!!

Look matching tongues, everyone runs with their tongue hanging out right??

The kids doing some more running!! They had a blast and burned off a ton of Energy

I never got a picture of Caroline's face because she never stopped moving, she was in continual motion!

Apparently Ryan ran out of gas and Calvin was trying to help!

See tongue out is a requirement for running......

love the lines of this picture

Miss Finely!! WE love Finely, she is the best baby ever, just always happy and ready for the action!

The only picture close to getting her face, and i'm in love with the reflection action in this picture. Oh yeah and hidden in there is a baby alligator.

We saw a heard of deer, a skunk, prairie dogs, owls, and all the animals inside the nature center.
Beautiful animal!!

This is my favorite picture of the day, for some reason it just speaks to me!  I love it and I love him!!!

and then like that we were off!! we were headed to Nauvoo!
 Isn't that beautiful!!
This was our AMAZING little cabin we stayed at, hands down one of the coolest places I have stayed(and I have been quite a few places), I just loved everything about it-the history, the coziness, that we were all sound asleep at 6:30.......all the above!!

In one of the houses Caroline said, "mom my heart is so happy inside, it wants to laugh" I tried to explain that she was feeling the Spirit, but she was really confused by Spirit the horse, so it was a losing argument at that point.

I loved that they snuggled up together and were extremely reverent the whole time!

It was a great stop and we can't wait to go back a learn more!

I was so impressed by Ryan's memory months later, that at bed one night he recounted the entire story of Joseph and Hyrum Smith being in jail and murder, almost word for word. I'm so impressed with his little testimony and desire to learn and grow!

One of my favorite times of year!! Circus on the cheap!!! We had FRONT row tickets for $5 and then bought treats like cotton candy and glow sticks at the Dollar Tree!
Caroline was a little unsure of the tigers at the preshow, which is good because like 2 seconds later one walked up and peed all over a little boy, who had no clue what just happened to him!
 Watching the preshow, elephants paint!

Silly boy with a clown nose!
silly Saskia with a clown nose!!

It was a wonderful morning and Caroline still goes around singing the FIRE IT UP song!
