after his soccer game the other day we asked Ryan where he wanted to go for lunch and he enthusiastically responded,"POTBELLIES BY TCU!!!!" this Potbellies is nowhere near his soccer fields, and there is one way closer but he wasn't having it.
Gramps picked Ry up and asked him why he wanted to go to that Potbellies, to which Ryan replied,"Gramps, because the girls like me there!!" With a HUGE smile on his face!
TCU is the local college, and we usually go during lunch time when all the cute, blond, tan, co-eds are there.
The other day the kids were in the bath playing in their own little corners, Ryan looks up at me and asks,"Mom, why does my wiener have a bone in it?" yep you guessed it, he had one!! YIKES, well I didn't really have an answer for that one, so he quickly replied,"It's okay mom, everyone's wieners stick up every once in a while!"

One of my naughty little monkeys apparently doesn't like apple skins!! I find these half eaten ALL OVER the house!! This same naughty little monkey has given up her BINKY!!! And even better news she finally took a nap today after a week and a half with no naps!! Now if I can get rid of the sippy cup at bedtime, oh and potty train!!! Nuthin' big!!
(and don't mind the dust, sorry)

Who do you think this is???
Look at this chubby cheeked baby, or is that my first born???
Well I am pretty sure it's Ryan since those are his PJ's, and that naughty monkey must have gotten ahold of my camera!! But I really had to look at this picture to figure out who it was!!

Today was cause for celebration
Today was a great day, Ryan had a great time at church, which is such a relief (we have STRUGGLED since the switch to primary). He was a happy boy, a happy boy that needs some serious church clothes!!!
So as part of our celebration we went and got ice cream, I know it's Sunday but this deserved an exception!!
While there some firemen came to have dinner, the kids were perfect and as cute as can be(who wouldn't be with an ice cream cone) and when we got up to leave one of the firemen offered to let the kids climb in the truck!! Ryan was in heaven and his grin was from ear to ear!!!!
Those are his CRAZY sleepy eyes(when he is sleepy his eyes get all crazy, and glassy)this was at about 6:20, so he was ready for bed!
SO EXCITED!

I didn't intend on buying Ryan's school pictures, but these are the best I have seen in a long time, and he is holding still, so that is a plus!

I found a great on Groupon the other day for registration and first months class for $40($165 savings) at Little Gym, it was just the deal I had been looking for!! We haven't been enrolled in gymnastics for a while and Ryan was itching to go back, but I didn't want a competitive gym, so this was the perfect fit!!

In case you missed the party, now you will feel like you were there!!(lots of pictures)
It was our sweet Caroline's 2nd Birthday, a couple of days ago and we had a blast at her Tea Party!
I set up 3 tables with hats, gloves, clutch, and necklaces-each girl got the whole set, and played with them the whole time!
I made some mini blueberry muffins, tea sandwiches(peanut butter and jelly cut really small with out the crust), chicken salad sandwiches for the adults, and mini chocolate cupcakes.
The girls all dressed up!
The beautiful fruit kabobs that my mom and Grandma Jari made. The melons are cut into hearts!
Ladies at lunch!
Sweet little girl and the dress her GiGi bought her! I love it!!
Okay so I love this little sequence of pictures-Caroline kept trying to get really close to Naida , and her mom said, "Naida just let her sit on your lap she is trying to be your friend." Naida replied,"But mom she is poopy!" oh yeah I wouldn;t want her sitting on my lap either!!!
So for some reason Caroline DID NOT enjoy having "Happy Birthday" sung to her in any way shape or form, she yelled "NO BIRFDAY, NO BIRFDAY!" and of course covered her ears the entire time!!
Sneaky little monkey!
I think this might be my favorite picture!! I haven't gotten a good picture of her since she has become mobile!! She is SUPER SPEEDY!!
This is a close second for favorite picture!!
She didn't want the presents, she wanted all the bags!! She is a totally bag girl!!
Wonderful Grandma Jari!! We love her so much!!
