We took these cuties to the Childrens Opera during spring break, and they had a blast!!  They all(4) sat so still and paid such close attention it was amazing!!  Caroline will still retell me the whole story(Little Red Riding hood with a Twist) They were so good that we went to the Friday performance too!!

This is every little boys dream!!  We went to Uncle Johns house a couple of weeks ago and I think Ryan thought he was at Disneyland!!
He got to drive John Deere Tractors and shot guns, could it get any better then that??

Caroline got her turn at the wheel too, much to her brothers chagrin!!

Now come the big guns!!

Now brother is giving sis a lesson(oh man that is scary!!!) and here I am just clicking away as though that is a normal thing to see happen!! :)
 Concentrate, Concentrate!!

I'm telling ya, better then Disneyland for this little boy, I don't think his grin left his face the entire time!!

Serious binge blogging going on!

My baby girl got a big girl room FINALLY!! And she loves it!!

I just packed up her crib the other day while she was at school, and she came home to her big girl room all put together!  She crawled right into bed and went right to sleep!

Roar ROAR RoAr rOaR
Caroline had a roaring good time at her 3rd birthday party today!!

We were able to find some Dino eggs, I think they are about to hatch!!

The Dino masks for Oriental Trading Company were fabulous!!!
Each kid got a mask and a dino tail!!  They turned out so cute and were worth the BAGS AND BAGS of batting!!

The Volcano cakes turned out so good!!
They were a complete hit!!

About to read our dinosaur books, everyone trying on their masks and tails!

The T-REX fossil dig!!  It was such a beautiful day to be outside digging up bones!
Next we were off for a Dino egg hunt!!  The kids had a great time running around collecting as many prehistoric eggs as possible!!

My birthday girl getting her eggs!!

The cutest little dinosaur I ever saw!

You think she had a good day?  I think she had a good day!!

She was so gracious opening her presents and wanted to make sure each person knew she was opening their present!

f

Blowing out her Volcano cake!

Daddy with his sweet kiddos!! It was fun to celebrate together as a family!!

The decorations turned out so good if I do say so myself!!  The crepe paper streamers were so easy but time consuming!!

We had stuff for the Herbivores!
 The Sweetivores
Fossil Foot print cookies

T-REX claws-bugles dipped in almond bark

And of course we can't forget our greeter! A little friendly welcome!

For Caroline's birthday we decided to take her to Build a Bear, she loves stuffed animals and we thought this was right up her ally.  At first she wasn't too sure what to think, we have never stepped foot in a Build a Bear before so I think it sensory over load for her!  But true to form she warmed up very quickly, and picked just about the weirdest stuffed animal there- a wiener dog!  Seriously there were tons of cute animals there way did she pick that one, oh well it was her birthday and she was happy!

Poor Ryan really wanted to help so bad but we were trying to make this her day and let it be her thing.  In hindsight we should have gotten a sitter.
Liney and daddy giving Opal the Wiener dog a bath.
Man, shopping with dad is fun, every thing you touch is golden.  hopefully she doesn't figure this out anytime soon.

Ryan was appeased by a ride on the mechanical bull!

So the other day we passed this Monster Truck and I told the kids if they were good we would stop and look at it.  I had never seen a truck this big in person, it was pretty cool.

I love this picture with Carolines hand on Ryan's back for a little reassurance.

Relaxing day at the zoo with my wild animals!
The weather this season has been so mild and wonderful, we have been soaking up the comfortable weather and sunshine!!

LOVE IT!!

Fort Day with Ryan, and a bad mom moment!
I had a great idea to watch a movie that Ryan had never seen before, so I put the movie in and about 10 minutes in Ryan says,"Mom this is a bad movie and I should not be watching this!" So of course I took it out right away and then looked at the case.......ummmm PG-13 PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN!!!! I had no clue it was PG-13, I figured it was PG. I felt horrible, I think we put in Veggie Tales to make up for my mommy guilt!!
Look at that sweet puppy with her head on the pillow, she was enjoying Fort time too!!
