Spring Break has been wonderful and we have been able to avoid all the crowds by going off the beaten path!  On Tuesday we were off on an adventure with Jamma Jari!!  She suggested Fort Richardson, and we were excited!!! but first the day started with a surprise from Uncle John. 

 

 Look what he gave us, these amazing fossils!!!  The kids were in love!!

 

You cant be at a Fort with out a gun and a hat!! He was in love!! This was the perfect place for this little boy to run and run and run.............

This next sequence is what I call mothering at its finest-Both kids were being nasty to each other(pulling hair, and hitting)so I put them in timeout next to each other and told them they couldn't get up until I got a picture of both of them looking at the camera and smiling!

 I think this one is my favorite!!! I have to admit they were facing the sun so it did make this task alot more difficult!!

 

 The boys, these two have become the best of friends and I love it!!! They want to hang out all the time and get along so well!!! It is wonderful!!!

So I have this new fancy camera and I am trying to figure out how to use it properly, the first step I have heard is to learn not to use the flash.  The only person that would hold still long enough for me to practice was poor Opal!!  Doesn't she look excited about her new job as a model??  It's a win win though, because I get to practice my photog skills and she gets to refresh her SIT, STAY, LAY DOWN skills!!

 I'm not sure what is up with that tounge, but it just sticks out no matter what and I just kind of like!!
