i'm officially addicted and my hand is cramping, but i've made four new freezer paper shirts today!! they are so fun! also today caroline peed and pooped in the toilet!! as i have mentioned before she has a habit of pooping in the tub(which is so nasty, and a pain in the butt to clean up), so my mom mentioned to put her on the potty before she goes in the tub. So today i thought why not it's worth a try....and it worked right away. i just held her over the toilet and said go pee pee Caroline, and sure enough she peed i was SHOCKED. then i put her in the tub and she looked like she was going to poop so i picked her up and put her on the potty and again she went right away. i'm hoping to break the pooping in the tub habit before pool season, because that would be very gross. i'm sure it was a fluke but i was pretty excited!

I made Ryan his shirt, and his hook! The sword might not have been a good idea though.....
Yeah, the sword was taken away, sad little pirate!! I guess he is not feeling the love.

These are the chair covers she made, and Ry loved it! It was nice to spend the morning just with him, and run around and do whatever he wanted. I think his favorite thing was the watermelon-he ate two plates full and loved every moment of it!
This was my other favorite table-Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs-so creative!!

Ry's first concert-he loved dancing with all the other kids.

So I think we have totally gotten our moneys(or grandma and papa's as the case may be) on our museum passes! Ryan and Caroline both really enjoy spending the day there.
I think we have been at least once a week if not more and the staff might soon know us by name, I know they are recognizing Ryan by his face!Posted by Emily at 8:57 AM 0 comments

Ryan and I have been battling over dinner and this was our conversation while Ryan was balling his eyes out.
M:You need to eat your dinner right now, look at your sister, she is eating her dinner!
R: Here, you can give her mine.
I've been worried about Caroline not really having any words yet, but after that comment I think I can handle a silent one for a while longer.

Pretty happy girl for double ear infection and not even on medication yet.
The kids are still going to bed at 6:30 so this was a VERY late night for them(we didn't get home until 10:45 and they were both awake and happy when we got home), luckily they both took great naps before we left. Our original plan was to go to the Stock Show, look at all the animals then go home and take naps and then go back for the rodeo. But since we moved like a herd of turtles we weren't ready to leave the house until 12, but by then it was nap time so we just stayed home, napped, had an early dinner, then headed out to the Stock Show and Rodeo. The only animals that were there were the FFA baby animals-it was perfect!! We saw a chick hatch out of an egg, baby ducklings going down a water slide and chicks getting on a Ferris wheel and jumping off. We also saw piglets drinking milk from their mama!
